چکیده مقاله
Abstract
Camel milk has been a cornerstone of nutrition and healing for centuries, particularly in traditional nomadic and desert communities. Its rich blend of vitamins, minerals, healthy fats, and immune-boosting proteins has positioned it as a valuable remedy for various health challenges, including diabetes, digestive disorders, cancer, autism, and infections. In these societies, camel milk is not merely food; it holds cultural significance as a key component of traditional healing systems, particularly in regions where access to modern healthcare is scarce. The natural antibodies present in camel milk strengthen the immune system and help manage illnesses, while its unique proteins support blood sugar regulation, making it an effective aid for conditions such as diabetes. Additionally, camel milk's traditional use for managing Crohn’s disease, skin conditions, respiratory issues, and gastrointestinal disorders highlights how cultural practices incorporate this natural resource into everyday health maintenance.
The longstanding reliance on camel milk for both nutritional and medicinal purposes underscores its role in sustaining health, particularly in environments with limited medical resources. By exploring its use across different cultural contexts, we gain valuable insight into how traditional knowledge systems integrate natural remedies into daily health care. This review advocates for more interdisciplinary research that bridges the gap between traditional healing practices and modern medical science, ensuring that the full therapeutic potential of camel milk is better understood and applied in contemporary health settings. Studying how cultural practices align with modern health challenges can broaden our understanding of wellness across diverse societies.
